Zemper, based in Castilla-La Mancha and a national benchmark in the design and manufacture of emergency lighting systems, has obtained ISO 20400 certification from AENOR, which recognizes best practices in sustainable and responsible procurement.

With this achievement, Zemper becomes the only company in the lighting sector to obtain this certification at national level, consolidating its leadership in sustainability and its commitment to ethical, transparent, and environmentally responsible business management. Furthermore, the company is the first in Castilla-La Mancha to align with this standard.
ISO 20400 establishes international guidelines to integrate sustainability criteria into an organization’s procurement policies and processes, promoting responsible relationships with suppliers and partners.
The certificate award ceremony was attended by Antonio Contreras (Director of AENOR’s Castilla-La Mancha office), Noemí Pérez (Business Development Technician in Castilla-La Mancha), Jesús María Espinosa (General Manager of Zemper), and Jesús Fernández (Quality Manager of Zemper).
This new recognition adds to the recent renewal of the EcoVadis medal, a global benchmark platform for assessing corporate sustainability, in which Zemper stands out for its performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
Obtaining this certificate demonstrates that Zemper applies sustainability principles throughout its value chain, ensuring a coherent approach aligned with its quality, safety, and social responsibility policies.
